AugustGinny's celebration
Ginny Bournias has been one of Frenchtown's leading ladies since her husband Pete and she opened the Frenchtown Candy Kitchen (now the site of Galasso's Pizza) on Bridge Street in Frenchtown in 1945. The candy kitchen was the meeting place for local residents and a stopping off place and focal point for such luminaries as Jimmy Stewart, Paul Whiteman, Howard Keel, Jack Goode and Marion Marlowe to name a few (
Theater and movie stars your parents will remember.)
